This week I go to Assiniboine Park to check out the toboggan hill and the duck pond to see if it is frozen enough to skate on. Then a quick stop at the zoo to see if Storm the newest polar bear is out today. Temp -6°C
The Double Decker is closed for the season.

…but no skating aloud or possible with all the snow on the pond.
Qualico Family Center has a dusting of snow on it and a lot of fresh deer tracks around it.

Storm the newest Polar Bear at the zoo was out today for only the second time, was enjoying a bone.
Hudson was out today playing with a piece of PVC pipe. He was having a grand old time tossing it in the air then chasing after it.
