You know it’s cold when…

It’s another cold day here in Winnipeg so today is a good day to check out the indoor playground that they have at the zoo. While I’m here I also want to check out the brand new tiger exhibit that opened earlier this week.

Temp -32°C feels like -37°C

The Stones Sheep did not seam to mind the cold.

The tigers will be able to view these sure footed climbers from the new exhibit and them the tigers. They already are a bit nervous.

Speaking of the new exhibit it's now open but no tigers were in it when I arrived. It looks a lot bigger now that all the construction trucks are gone.

I’ll come back later. In the meantime I’ll go see what the polar bears are up to.

On my way to visit the Polar bears I saw this van.

I've not seen this van before. I hope all the animals are OK and this is just a check up visit.

Someone commented on the parks Facebook page this week that all the benches were unusable because of all the snow. They now have a crew out shoveling them clear.

Next week I’ll be getting out a bit later in the week than I’m used to.
